The Organising Committee in conjunction with the International Programme Committee and a newly appointed Industrial Advisory Panel unanimously agreed to implement an innovative and fresh approach to help realize maximum interaction at the ICSE2015 event which takes place during 8-10 September 2015

•The paper submission deadline is to be 2 months after the event itself to allow authors an opportunity to include feedback from their presentations to be then incorporated in their final papers

•Consequently only extended abstracts are required by Friday 14th of August 2015

•Structured discussion sessions are to be included in a programme on hot topics of common interest

•Main points of discussions arising are to be recorded and published along with the papers/as well as individual Q/A sessions for each standard paper presentation

•Remote participation is to be included via Skype to allow participants an opportunity to engage from industry/overseas

•Significant reduction in conference fees for research student papers (students must be the first named author on their papers)

•A shorter paper category is introduced to allow maximum participation of industry/commerce on Industry Day (9 September 2015) – middle day

•To facilitate immediate interaction delegates will be asked to provide brief CVs including photo (passport style) for easy identification (suggested format to follow)

•Discussion rapporteurs will be invited to lead and assist with the recording of the main discussion points

•As well as conventional papers, delegates are invited to suggest hot topics for the discussion sessions

•A small numbers of tutorials aimed at younger researcher participation will be included in the programme, delegates are invited to suggest topics of interest for the tutorials
